What's the best book you read this year?

Do professional athletes make too much money, or do they deserve every penny?  Why?

they deserve every penny.

america employs capitalism.  capitalism by wikipedia definition is "an economic system in which the means of production are all or mostly privately^[1][2] owned and operated for profit, and in which investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are determined through the operation of a market economy."

so if u dont like it, don't live in america.  they are obviously being paid by somebody.  it would be like calling a rapper, ceo, etc overpaid. 

they aren't overpaid b/c someone pays them.  they are just taking advantage of the market, taking advantage of capitalism and you can't knock them for that.

What shows are you looking forward to in the new fall TV season?

heroes season 2 and bionic woman season 1.

If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

this is a tricky question that i have often thought about (when you go on long distance runs, you find a way to occupy your thoughts).

1)  pizza.  i can seriously eat this every day.

2)  ceasar salad.  just so i won't be a total fatty.

3)  ensaymada.  this would be my breakfast/dessert food.

seriously just this stuff and water and i would be set.  let me know when the next 1 way ticket to some desserted island is available.

What is (or would be) your DJ name?

djiceburgs.  i'm not a dj at all, i tried it once and was horrible at it.  but my dj friend gerard gave it to me.  anyways i use it as a screenname/email address cuz what i go by (burgs) is usually taken so i have to pick somethin longer)

What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?

this is easy.  i'm not a big sweets fan.  so i rarely go ga-ga over desserts.  but this is the only ice cream that i literally daydream about.  its called "baseball nut" and its at baskin robbins.  here's the description from their website:

i surf the web alot so these are just my top 5.

update on my gre:

740 math.  very happy about this.  92 percentile.

530 verbal.  not so happy about this.  66 percentile.

5.5 (out of 6) analytical writing.  very happy about this!    84 percentile.

overall, 1270 which is way above average (the average gre for admitted students in my program is 1150).

when you take the sat, its the biggest test of your life.  i took my sat when i was frickin 16.  its pretty hard to tell a 16 year old, "hey kid, this test will be the biggest test of your life so don't fuck it up."

well a decade or so later ,its time for the second biggest test of my life.  funny how i never thought to myself in college "geez this is the biggest test of my life".

but i've been studying.  my brain is swamped with info and equations that i haven't put much thought to since high school.  the gre aka sat on steroids is kickin my butt.

it'll be all worth it if i score well.  wish me luck.
